SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use
•
Place the appliance on a stable and flat surface and always use it in accordance with these
Operating Instructions.
•
Check that the juicer filter and rotor are correctly positioned and that the filter and transparent lid
have not come skew. Put on the transparent lid, fasten the locking lever in the slot on the lid, and
start the appliance.
•
The motor may smell a little when first used. This is quite normal and the smell will go away after
the motor has been used for a while.
•
Check that the juice container does not get overfilled with juice and pulp during the pressing. If this
happens: switch of the appliance, and empty and rinse the container before starting the appliance
again.
•
Never open the lid during use. Never put your hand or any kitchen utensils in the feed tube – risk of
personal injury and/or material damage.
•
The motor has an overheating protection, which prolongs the service-life of the appliance. The
power will switch off automatically if the motor is overworked, or gets overloaded or overheated.
Pull out the plug if the motor stops. Allow the motor to cool for about 30 minutes before starting it
again.
•
Do not disinfect any parts in a disinfection cabinet at high temperature, or steam-clean or boil.
•
Never leave the appliance unattended when in use, and do not allow children to use the appliance.
•
Do not allow the appliance to run empty, and make sure it is not overloaded.
•
Always pull out the plug before pouring out juice from the appliance.
•
The blades are very sharp. Always clean the blade unit under running water, and never use your
hands when cleaning.
•
Only use the appliance for its intended purpose.
•
A damaged cord must be replaced by an authorised service centre, or qualified person, to avoid
putting safety at risk. Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself, contact one of our dealers or
an authorised service centre.
•
The appliance is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with disabilities, or by
persons who are not familiar with how the appliance is used, unless they are supervised or receive
instructions concerning use of the appliance by a person who is responsible for their safety.
•
Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the appliance.
