NOTE:
The weed burner must be used outdoors and not near flammable substances and materials.
Always point the burner down. If the flame flares up, move the gas cylinder to the upright position
for a few seconds.
Do not use the weed burner if the ground is wet.
Always be careful when the ground is dry. Fire hazard.
The weed burner must not be left unattended.
A defective or damaged weed burner must not be used.
Turning off
Close the regulating control (3) by turning it clockwise. Wait until the flame goes out.
NOTE:
Some parts of the weed burner become very hot during use. Let them cool before putting the weed
burner away.
The flame will continue to burn for a little while after the gas has been turned off. The flame goes
out when the gas in the extension tube (6) runs out.
MAINTENANCE
Storage
Separate the weed burner from the gas cylinder when not in use. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated
place.
NOTE:
The gas cylinder must not be exposed to direct sunlight.
The gas cylinder must not be exposed to temperatures above 50ºC.
Keep the gas cylinder out of the reach of children.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Take the weed burner to an authorised service centre if it needs service or maintenance. Tampering with
the weed burner could have serious consequences
Gas leaks
If the weed burner has a leak (smells of gas), move it to a well-ventilated place before looking for the leak.
Check the sealing
Check the weed burner sealing outdoors using soapy water or a leak detection spray. If there is a leak,
this will be apparent from any bubbles or foam that might occur.
Check the gas level
Remove the gas cylinder from the weed burner and shake the gas cylinder. If you hear the sound of liquid
gas, there is still gas in the cylinder.
