OPERATION
Installing the box
Install the box on a stable, horizontal surface. Use a spirit level or a container with water to adjust the
level of the box, if necessary. If you want to have ice, place a tray filled with water on the cooling element.
Avoid installing the box in direct sunlight or close to heat sources.
The distance between the back of the box and a wall should be at least 10 cm, and the minimum
ventilation area from the sides of the box should never be less than 5 cm.
The box should always be protected from rain and splashes. To ensure a good level of air circulation, do
not cover the ventilation grills on the top, the lower section or near the surface of the box.
Follow the above guidelines to ensure efficient and economical cooling.
Before using the box for the first time, clean the interior and lid with warm water (add detergent if
necessary). Never use a corrosive product.
Using with a power outlet
Never use another source of energy at the same time (battery, liquefied petroleum gas). Check that the
power outlet’s voltage corresponds with the level stated on the label (on the back of the box).
If the electrical specifications are correct, insert the earthed plug in an earthed wall socket that is wired
according to the specifications.
Starting
Turn the thermostat clockwise to the MAX position. The effect of the cooling process (frost on the
evaporator) will be visible after about one hour.
The thermostat makes the temperature in the cooler box adjustable (“0” = cooling process stopped).
