SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use!
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older, people (including children) with
reduced physical or mental capabilities or those who have a lack of knowledge and experience if
they have received training or instructions on how to use the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
Children aged between 3 and 8 are allowed to switch the heater on and off if it has been installed
correctly and the children have been instructed in how to use the appliance correctly and
understand the risks linked to incorrect usage. Children aged between 3 and 8 are not allowed to
plug in, clean or maintain the appliance.
Children under the age of 3 must be supervised at all times to ensure they do not touch the
appliance.
WARNING: Certain parts of the appliance can become extremely hot and cause burns. Special
attention must be given when children and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities are present.
Save these Operating Instructions for future reference.
The appliance must be disconnected from the wall socket when not in use.
The appliance must not come into contact with water.
Do not connect the appliance to the wall socket if its surfaces are damp.
Foreign objects
must not be inserted through the appliance’s grilles or ventilation openings.
The appliance is not intended for use by people (including children) with various disabilities, or by
people who have no knowledge of how the appliance is used, unless they are supervised or
receive instructions concerning its use from someone responsible for their safety.
Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the appliance.
The appliance must be disconnected from the wall socket before being cleaned.
Hold the plug, not the power cord, when disconnecting the appliance from the wall socket.
Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Place on a stable, dry surface.
Place the appliance at least 100 cm from furniture, curtains or similar. Fire hazard.
The front and rear of the appliance must not be covered over.
Leave a free space of 100 cm in front of and 50 cm behind the appliance.
The appliance must not be used in spaces of less than 4 m².
Do not use near explosive or flammable substances or fumes.
Do not leave the appliance turned on for long periods in unattended places such as an empty
holiday cottage.
Position the power cord so that people don’t have to tread on it when moving past the appliance.
Position the power cord so that it is not in contact with corners or sharp surfaces.
If an extension cord has to be used, it should be as short as possible and correctly dimensioned.
The appliance is designed for indoor use only.
Do not use near baths, showers or pools.
The heater fan must be connected to an earthed outlet.
The appliance has a safety device that turns it off automatically in the event of overheating or
malfunction. Contact an authorised service centre if this safety device is repeatedly activated.
A defective or damaged appliance must be repaired by an authorised service centre.
Do not use the heater fan if the power cord or plug is damaged in any way. For safety reasons, the
power cord must only be replaced or repaired by an authorised service centre. Consult your dealer.
