Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
WARNING: Certain parts of the appliance can become extremely hot and cause burns.
Special attention must be given when children and people with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities are present.
Do not use the infrared heater if the power cord or plug is damaged in any way. For safety
reasons, the power cord must only be replaced or repaired by an authorised service
centre. Consult your dealer.
Despite the fact that the infrared heater complies with applicable standards as regards
safety and electromagnetic compatibility, hazardous situations can still arise if the heater
is used under incorrect conditions. Use the infrared heater in accordance with the
instructions in these Operating Instructions, and only if it is fully assembled and intact.
Repair work must only be performed by an authorised service centre. Otherwise the
warranty will be voided.
The manufacturer reserves the right to alter the product and/or its specifications without
prior notification.
The infrared heater has been tested and approved prior to delivery, although damage can
arise during transport. You should therefore check that all parts are intact before using the
infrared heater. Contact your dealer to rectify any defects.
Save the packaging material. You may need it for storage or transport.
Keep Operating Instructions in a safe place. If the infrared heater changes owner, the
Operating Instructions must also be handed over.
The infrared heater is only intended for private use.
To avoid electric shocks, never immerse the infrared heater, the power cord or the plug
into water or any other liquid.
Do not locate the infrared heater in crowded spaces where there is a risk of it tipping over.
If using the infrared heater in a tent, under a fabric ceiling, etc., keep it at a sufficiently
safe distance from flammable materials to avoid damage and fires.
Route the power cord so that it does not get trapped and so that nobody can trip over it.
Keep the power cord away from sharp edges and hot surfaces.
Before connecting the infrared heater to the mains, check that the mains supply
corresponds with the heater’s rated data (see Technical Data at the end of the Operating
Instructions).
Do not use the infrared heater in combination with a timer, programming unit or similar
equipment that can turn the heater on automatically. There is a risk of fire if the infrared
heater is positioned incorrectly or covered over by another person who is not aware of the
situation.
Never touch the infrared heater with wet hands.
The infrared heater’s electrical safety is only guaranteed if the heater is connected to a
correctly earthed power outlet.
