SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully before use!
Intended use
The log saw is designed for cross-cutting firewood within the specified dimensions (see technical
data) in a feed cradle that pivots towards the saw blade. The machine is designed for outdoor use
and for operation by one person at a time. Keep children and onlookers at a safe distance when
using the machine.
Only use the machine for its intended purpose.
Any other use is considered improper.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any personal injury or damage to equipment
incurred as a result of improper use. The user is fully responsible for such injury and/or damage.
The machine may only be operated with suitable saw blades (made of hard metal or
chrome/vanadium steel). Never use HSS saw blades or cutting discs. Follow all safety instructions,
assembly instructions and user instructions.
All persons using or carrying out service on the machine must have read these instructions and be
aware of the potential risks when using the machine.
Always follow the applicable rules regarding workplace safety and accident prevention.
Never modify the machine in any way. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any
personal injury or damage to equipment incurred as a result of such modifications.
Even if the machine is used in accordance with the instructions it is impossible to rule out all risk
factors. The following are potential risks that may be incurred as a result of the type and design of
the machine.

Risk of contact with the blade in the uncovered saw zone.

Kick-back of workpieces or parts of workpieces.

Damage to hearing if ear protection is not used.

Harmful emissions of wood dust when used in enclosed areas.
