Results of Improper adjustment
1. Bring the needle bar

to the lower dead point.
2. Loosen the setscrew

3. Adjust a position of the needle bar lubricating pin

so that a
clearance provided between the needle bar lubricating pin

and
the needle bar driving pin
❸
should be 0.1 to 0.3 mm.
* Adjustment of 0.1 to 0.3 mm is convenient to use a thickness
gauge or the like.
(Caution) A clearance should be 0.1 to 0.3 mm at an interme-
diate position of the needle bar stroke.
4. Tighten the setscrew

fed properly resulting in seizure.
