Cleaning the magnetic
separator
The magnetic separator is used to retain
magnetic sludge in the unit, and this is then
permanently removed from the system by
regular rinsing (see chapter “Rinsing”).
The shut-off valve downstream of the filter
must be closed before rinsing.
The black magnet holder in the front of the
unit is then pulled fully open to allow the
sludge retained to drop tot he unit floor (see
fig. 7).
The draw may be closed again after approx.
10 seconds and the unit rinsed (see chapter
“Rinsing”).

Failure to close the shut-off valve

to the heating loop.
