Diversity UHF Dual Receiver
These instructions are intended for users without any
specific technical knowledge Please read the instruc-
tions carefully prior to operation and keep them for
later reference
All operating elements and connections described
can be found on the fold-out page 3
1 Overview

– to select the transmission channel, separately for
both receiver units
1 In the respective control panel, press the key
or
(for a minimum of 1 second): on the
display, the indication RX1 or RX2 (b) flashes
2 As long as the indication keeps flashing (for
approx 3 seconds after pressing a key), the
channel can be selected: With the key
, the
channels are scanned in ascending order; with
the key
, they are scanned in descending
order
– to activate / deactive the lock mode for both re-
ceiver units together
1 To activate the lock mode, in one of the con-
trol panels, keep the keys
and
pressed
simultaneously until LOCK (a) is displayed:
The transmission channels cannot be changed
any more
2 To deactivate the lock mode, in one of the
control panels, keep the keys
and
pressed
simultaneously until the insertion LOCK dis-
appears

Multifunction LC display (see fig 1)
– for both receiver units:
a
insertion LOCK with activated lock mode: in
the lock mode it is not possible to change the
transmission channels adjusted for both re-
ceiver units
– for receiver unit 1 and receiver unit 2 respectively:

indication RX1 (for receiver unit 1) or RX2 (for
receiver unit 2): flashes when the channel
adjusting mode has been activated for the
respective receiver unit

indication RF for the strength of the radio sig-
nal received: the more segments are displayed,
the better the reception
d
indication AF for the volume of the audio
signal received [independent of the volume
controls (5)]: the more segments are displayed,
the higher the volume level

reception indication

B
: indicates which
of the two antennas receives the radio signal
of higher strength
f
indication of the transmission channel
g
muting symbol: indicates that the respective
receiver unit has been muted because it either
receives a radio signal which is too poor or no
radio signal at all

Output of the master signal of the two receiver units
(6 3 mm jack, unbal ) for connection to a line input
of a mixer /amplifier

Power supply jack for connection of the power
supply unit

BNC jacks for connection of the antennas (4)

Balanced XLR outputs CH 1 and CH 2, for the out-
put signal of receiver unit 1 and the output signal
of receiver unit 2, for connection to two balanced
microphone inputs of a mixer /amplifier

Squelch controls CH 1 and CH 2, for receiver unit 1
and receiver unit 2, to adjust the threshold for in-
terference suppression
2 Safety Notes
The units (receiver and power supply unit) correspond
to all relevant directives of the EU and are therefore
marked with
WARNING
The power supply unit uses dangerous
mains voltage Leave servicing to skilled
personnel only Inexpert handling of
the unit may result in electric shock

The units are suitable for indoor use only Protect
them against dripping water and splash water, high
air humidity and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C)
•
Do not operate the receiver and immediately discon-
nect the power supply unit from the mains socket
1 if the units are visibly damaged,
2 if a defect might have occurred after a unit was
dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3 if malfunctions occur
In any case the units must be repaired by skilled per-
sonnel
