FITTING INTO THE CAR - GROUP I (For children from 9 to 18 kg)
FACING FORWARDS ONLY
(DO NOT USE ON SEATS EQUIPPED WITH BUILT-IN AIR BAGS)
NOTES: The car safety belt must be pulled tight, making sure that it is not twisted
GROUP 1 - the child seat MUST be forward-facing. The airbag must be disconnected.
Step 1.
Secure the child car seat facing forward on the seats of your car as in the picture on page 2 of this
manual. Always use the three-point car seat belts to secure the seat on suitable car seats.
Step 2.
Pass the 3-point safety belt system (lap and shoulder belt) through the openings marked by the
red arrow that identifies where the car seat belts go for Group 1 (Fig. 4) (K1 and K2) and through
the top guide. Fasten the buckle (M) in the lock until you hear a click. (Fig. 5).
Step 3
Put your child in the safety seat and place the harness that was previously fastened, over the child.
Fasten the buckle (G) by joining the two parts of the belt (E and F) together until you hear a click
(fig. 6/a).
Adjust the tension of the seat belt to the child’s body so that they are snug but not restrictive, the
seat is equipped with a central belt (H): if you pull the belt, the child seat belt system are tightened
until they fit on the child’s body. Make sure the car seat belts are not twisted and that they are flat.
To loosen the straps, press the metal button with one hand and with the other hand pull the straps
toward you at the same time (Fig. 6/b)
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To remove the seat cover, you need to unhook the straps from the lower metal belt-yoke remove
the harness, detach the press studs on both sides of the seat, carefully remove the covering
from the top. The cover is removable and washable at 30°C. The harness belt system and plastic
component can be washed by warm water.
• Cleaning of the cover: use only neutral detergent and wash with hot water. Do not machine wash.
Spinning cycle and dryer are not recommended.
WARNING IN CASE OF ACCIDENT: The car seat should be replaced if the vehicle has been subject
to accident violent stress.
