4. Before use, ensure that you have unwound a sufficient length of the power cord then
plug the vacuum into the main power supply. The vacuum has polarized plug that has one
blade wider than the other. The plug is intended to be plugged into a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit into the plug then reverse the plug and try again. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Once the vacuum is
plugged in, turn the vacuum on by pressing the On/Off switch located on the main body of
the vacuum. (Note: the “O” is the “Off” position and the “I” is the “On” position).

Handheld Use:
1. To use the vacuum as a handheld vacuum use without the telescopic handle. (fig. 5) (To
remove the handle fully depress the handle release button at the back of the unit and pull
the handle out of the hole, releasing the button once the handle is clear of the unit.
2. You can use the handheld vacuum with the floor brush (Great for stairs!) or with the
extension hose, crevice tool, upholstery brush and extension tubes. (Great for upholstery,
cars and hard to reach places). To use the nozzles; detach the floor brush and fit one of
the extra nozzles into the intake of the vacuum cleaner or use the flex hose between the
intake and the nozzle.
