6 INSTALLATION
The fitter must have the Jøtul certificate, authorising
installation of appliances fired with solid fuel.
The insert can be installed on the wall adjacent to the
chimney, with distribution of hot air to the front or to the
sides, with an optional frame or without a frame.
6�1 INSTALLATION OF THE INSERT ON
THE CHIMNEY WALL
To enable installation in a housing made of marble or
other material, the insert is equipped with slide rails
enabling installation and regular checks and inspections
of mechanical and electrical parts.
6�1�1 Setting up an insert without a socle
1) The bottom part of the insert’s base must not be
covered, in order to enable intake of air from the
insert and supply of cooling air into the housing’s
interior.
2) Place the provided handle on the door’s closing lever
(fig. 6.1.0) on the appliance as soon as you receive it,
while it is still fastened on the pallet.
3) Open the door (fig. 6.1.1) ;
4) Insert the Allen key (A) into the limiter’s socket;
turn the closing lever counterclockwise, to position
(B) (fig. 6.1.2), close the door, and take the appliance
out, up to the end of the rails (fig. 6.1.3).
This activity causes a safety microswitch (W) to engage,
shutting off the power feed (fig� 6�1�4), the power cable
may not be connected to the electrical grid�
