2.1

Pump description

The MCHZ is a range of horizontal high-pressure stage pumps with closed impellers. 
The range consists of the following 6 basic types:

• MCHZ 12,5

• MCHZ 14a

• MCHZ 14b

• MCHZ  16

• MCHZ 20a

• MCHZ 20b

Each basic type can be designed with one or more pressure stages. 

Flange dimensions, bolt circle and number of holes are according DIN 2535 ND 40. 

The pump is driven by a standard IEC foot motor. The power is transmitted through a 
flexible coupling. 

Due to the modular design of the construction parts there is a high level of 
interchangeability, even with other types of multistage pumps, such as the MCV or the 
MCH.

2.2

Applications

The pump can be used for the following applications:

• warm and hot water supply systems.

• air-conditioning.

• cooling for land and marine installations.

• water supply for industry, water supply companies, agriculture and horticulture.

• spraying installations.

• washing and condensing installations.

• pressure increasing installations.

• in the process industry, general industry, road and marine construction.
