4. Battery Installation
1. Unscrew the battery cover screw in a
counterclockwise direction and remove
the battery cover.
2. Insert two “AA” alkaline batteries into the battery compartment
according to the polarity illustrated inside.
3. Replace the battery cover.
4. Screw in the battery cover screw in a clockwise direction to secure
the cover.
Note:
Remove the batteries when storing the unit for an extended
time (more than three months) to avoid damage to the unit should
the batteries deteriorate.
The battery life indicator on the main LCD display will show the
current battery life:
Battery has 100% power
Battery has approximately 60% power
Battery has about approximately 25% power
Battery has approximately 5% power, and new batteries
are needed
