  Fault Output 

5.5.3

The Fault output indicates either driver's over voltage or TP violation. 

When active “low”, it disables the driver due to this fault.  

The fault output provides an open collector interface and needs to be 

pulled up by the user. 

The maximum allowed current through the open collector transistor is 

50mA

. The appropriate pull-up resistors should be used to avoid 

overloading this output.
