Audio Message Generator

The heart of a voice evacuation system, the Audio Message Generator
(AMG-1) provides a variety of tones, including a slow whoop, yelp,
yeow, siren, hi/lo, or steady tone.  A built-in microphone allows for
paging through speaker circuits.  Optionally, up to four
digitally-recorded voice messages may be installed in the AMG-1.
Prerecorded VROM-(n) voice messages are available from the factory,
and one or two messages can be installed in the AMG-1.  With
optional VRAM-1 memory chips installed, up to two user-defined
messages may be programmed into the AMG-1 (one per VRAM).  Up
to 24 seconds in length, both user-messages can be produced at the
AMG-1 through the built-in microphone, or downloaded through a
standard audio cassette recorder.
