SECTION 6. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS AND OPERATOR MAINTENANCE
6.1
INTRODUCTION
This section of the manual provides additional necessary
information to the operator for proper operation and main-
tenance of this machine.
The maintenance portion of this section is intended as infor-
mation to assist the machine operator to perform daily
maintenance tasks only, and does not replace the more
thorough Preventive Maintenance and Inspection Schedule
included in the Service and Maintenance Manual.
IT IS GOOD PRACTICE TO AVOID PRESSURE-WASHING ELECTRICAL/ELEC-
TRONIC COMPONENTS. IN THE EVENT PRESSURE-WASHING THE
MACHINE IS NEEDED, ENSURE MACHINE IS SHUT DOWN BEFORE PRES-
SURE-WASHING. IF PRESSURE WASHING IS USED TO WASH AREAS CON-
TAINING ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS, JLG INDUSTRIES, INC.
RECOMMENDS A MAXIMUM PRESSURE OF 750 PSI (52 BAR) AT A MINI-
MUM DISTANCE OF 12 INCHES (30.5 CM) AWAY FROM THESE COMPO-
NENTS. IF ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS ARE SPRAYED,
SPRAYING MUST NOT BE DIRECT AND FOR BRIEF TIME PERIODS TO
AVOID HEAVY SATURATION.
