b. The Tower lift “down” will only operate when
the Tower Boom is fully retracted.
TO AVOID TILTING MACHINE IF TOWER BOOM SWITCHING MALFUNCTIONS:
— LOWER PLATFORM TO GROUND USING MAIN BOOM LIFT AND TELESCOPE FUNC-
TIONS.
— HAVE CONDITION CORRECTED BY A CERTIFIED JLG SERVICE TECHNICIAN BEFORE
CONTINUING USE OF MACHINE.
Raising and Lowering the Main Boom
To raise or lower the Main Boom, position the Main
Boom Lift switch to Up or Down until the desired
height is reached.
Telescoping the Main Boom
To extend or retract the main boom, use the Main
Telescope Control Switch to select In or Out move-
ment.
