6.2
EMERGENCY LOWERING OF BOOM
In case of an emergency or engine failure an auxiliary power system is available.
Cab Auxiliary Power System
Refer to the Operation & Safety Manual supplied with telehandler.
Platform Auxiliary Power System
1. With the engine shut-down verify the power/emergency stop switch (

) is pulled up.
2. Squeeze and hold the function enable trigger (
2
) to activate the auxiliary power
system. If platform is overloaded, the platform overload indicator (
3
)
will illuminate
and alarm will sound until the load is below maximum capacity.
3. While holding the function enable trigger, move boom joystick (
4
) back to lower
boom; move forward to raise boom; move right to retract boom; move left to extend
boom. Operate until the platform is at ground level.
Note:
It is recommended to only use the extend or lift functions if necessary and to limit their
duration due to limited battery life.
4. Release the function enable trigger and depress the power/emergency stop switch.
