2 Setting
up
•
Connect the power supply to the 230 V mains supply.
•
Select the desired voltage by rotating the switch to the desired
position: 6 V =, 12 V =, 12 V ~ or 6 V ~.
•
Connect your circuit (lamp, motor, voltage divider, etc.) to the
selected output sockets.
•
Toggle the master switch so that the power-on indicator lamp comes
on.
Notes:
In
DC
, if the current flow is greater than the maximum permissible value (1
A), the current remains at about 1 A and the voltage gradually drops.
Remove the source of the overload or the short circuit to return to
normal operation.
In
AC
, if the current flow is greater than the maximum permissible value (1 A
RMS), the power supply trips. This protection is ensured by a thermal
protector which resets automatically after a few seconds to a few minutes
once the source of the overload or the short circuit is removed.
