6 Troubleshooting
Problem
Cause
Solution
There is no “armed” signal tone
audible when the battery is
connected to the controller. The
motor is connected correctly to
the controller. The motor does
not start running when the
throttle is set.
Standard control: The throttle
channel is not connected to the
receiver.
Connect the black connector
from
the controller to the
throttle
channel on the
receiver.
Standard control: The controller
is configured by EX Bus control.
Load the default settings of
controller.
EX Bus control: The controller is
not
connected properly to the
EXT / E1 / E2
port on the
receiver.
Connect the red connector
from controller to the EXT /
E1 / E2 port on the receiver.
EX Bus control: The receiver is
not in the EX Bus mode.
Set the port EXT/E1/E2 of the
receiver where the controller is
connected to EX Bus mode.
The signal tone audible is given
off periodically after
connecting battery to the
controller. The motor is
connected correctly to the
controller.
The throttle is not in the
acceptable range of the
selected controller mode.
The bidirectional mode or the
proportional mode of brake
demands offset for neutral of
throttle.
The motor is not running
smoothly and stops suddenly.
Some of the cables connecting
the controller with the motor
are damaged or disconnected.
Check the cables and
connectors between the
controller and the motor.
There was a malfunction of the
controller.
Please contact your service or
technical
support.
The controller is not available in
the Device Explorer of JETI DC /
DS transmitter.
The controller is not connected
properly to the receiver.
Connect the red connector
from controller to the EXT /
E1 / E2 port on the receiver.
The receiver is
not in the EX Bus mode.
Set the port EXT/E1/E2 of the
receiver where the controller is
connected to EX Bus mode.
