Warning
1. Read and understand the entire owners manual before attempting installation or operation.
2. Do not exceed rated capacity.
3. Supporting structure used with this device must provide adequate support to handle all hoist
operations plus the weight of the hoist and attached equipment. If in doubt, consult a registered
structural engineer.
4. Do not use the hoist in damp, wet or poorly lit conditions. Do not use electrically powered equipment
in the presence of flammable gases or liquids.
5. Do not use with twisted, kinked, frayed or otherwise damaged wire rope.
6. Do not use if hoist is damaged or malfunctioning.
7. Always take time to study the job to be performed and choose the safest method. Do not place
yourself or other people in an unsafe position.
8. Do not lift people or loads over people. Always keep people clear from load path.
9. Do not use the hoist if the hook is stretched, deformed, or has a broken or missing safety latch.
Always replace the safety latch and/or the hook before placing the hoist back in service.
10. Always keep a minimum of three (3) wraps of wire rope on the reel.
11. Never leave a suspended load unattended.
12. Do not swing a suspended load.
13. Always inspect hoist before each use. Replace any component that is damaged or malfunctioning.
Check that the wire rope is evenly wrapped around the reel and properly seated in the pulley of the
snatch block.
14. Always use gloves when handling wire rope. Do not wear loose clothing which can become entangled
in moving parts.
15. Give your work undivided attention. Looking around, carrying on a conversation and “horse-play” are
careless acts that can result in serious injury.
16. Do not operate this tool while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or any medication.
17. Failure to comply with the above warnings may result in personal injury and/or property damage.
