Collector Housing and Collector Bag
Refer to Figure 10.
Note: If you are assembling the 8-foot dust
collection unit the support brackets (A) will not be
used. Insert the six M8 x 12 hex cap screws with
six M8 hex nuts to cover the holes on the housing.
Skip Step 1 and proceed to Step 2.
1. Attach three support brackets (A) to the
housing
(B) using six M8 x 12 hex cap
screws (C) and six M8 hex nuts (D). Tighten
with a 12mm and 13mm wrench.
2. Bring the top of the plastic bag (E) up through
the snap ring (F) to extend about three inches
and fold it over the top of the snap ring (G).
3. Insert
the
snap ring (F) with the collector bag
wrapped around it into the bottom of the
housing (H) at an angle so the ring is entirely
inside the housing (B).
4. Pull down on the ring to make sure it “seats” in
the housing.
Filter Installation
If your dust collection unit is equipped with a filter
bag, proceed to the Filter Bag Installation section
on page 16. If you have the canister filter model,
proceed below:
Canister Filter Installation
The parts required for this section are contained in
the Canister Hardware Package (PN: JC2CF-HD1).
Referring to Figure 11:
1. Place the canister (A) on the collector
housing (B) lining up the snaps (C) to the
hooks (D) and secure by closing the snaps.
2. Connect two support arms (E) to mounting
brackets on the impeller housing (F) and
canister cover (G). Secure with four M8x45
Hex Cap Screws (H), eight M8 Flat Washers
(J), and four M8 Nylon Insert Lock Nuts (K).
3. Place
8"
hose clamps (L) on each end of the
30" hose (M).
4. Mount
the
hose (M) to the ports on the impeller
(N) and canister cover (O) and secure by
tightening the screws on the hose clamps (L).
