Base
Referring to Figure 6:
1. Place an M10 flat washer (C
1
) on the caster (A)
and insert the caster through bottom of the
base (B).
2. Slide another M10 flat washer (C
2
) and M10
lock washer (D) over the caster shaft.
3. Thread a 3/8" hex nut (E) on the caster shaft
and fasten with a 14mm (9/16") wrench.
4. Repeat for remaining three casters.
Collection Drum
The collection drum (not included) needs to be
fitted with a bushing to provide a connection point
for a vacuum hose. Later a plastic collection bag
will be placed inside the drum which will collect
larger dust particles during operation.
Use a 55-gallon steel drum or a 44-gallon plastic
garbage can for 9-foot units and a 35-gallon
cardboard drum for 8-foot units.
To connect the bushing to the drum (refer to
Figure 7):
1. Drill a hole 1/2" diameter in the side of the steel
drum 2-1/2" from the bottom.
2. Place a lock nut on the threaded side of the
bushing and insert the bushing through the
opening in the drum (from step 1).
3. On the inside of the drum, place the separator
plate on the bushing followed by another lock
nut and tighten the bushing assembly.
