The vise can be adjusted for square
and mitre cuts.
Loosen bolts (A) and move fixed vise
jaw to the desired angle.
Adjust movable vise jaw parallel to the
fixed jaw.
Always check the vise setup with a
combination square against the blade
and vise.
To set vise for maximum width of
stock two sets of bolt holes (A, B) are
available.
8. Maintenance and inspection
General notes:
Maintenance, cleaning and repair
work may only be carried out after
the machine is protected against
accidental starting by pulling the
mains plug.
Repair and maintenance work on the
electrical system may only be carried
out by a qualified electrician.
Clean the machine regularly.
Only use sharp and properly set saw
blades.
Replace a defective sawblade
immediately.
All protective and safety devises must
be re-attached immediately after
completed cleaning, repair and
maintenance work.
Defective safety devises must be
replaced immediately.
Lubrication
Daily lubricate the vise lead screw and
vise guide ways with grease.
All ball bearings are permanently
lubricated.
Gear Box Oil:
The gearbox oil must be changed after
the first 2 months of operation (after
100 operating hours).
Then change the oil in the gearbox
annually (respectively every 500
operating hours).
Regularly check level of gear box oil.
Place arm in horizontal position and
allow a few minutes so that all oil
drains down.
Correct level is the middle of sight
glass.
To change gear box oil
Disconnect machine from the power
source.
Remove drain plug and allow lubricant
to drain completely. The drain plug is
located on lower front of gear case
under right wheel cover. Remove
drain plug with a hex wrench.
Remove filler cap and fill gearbox with
Mobil SHC 634
synthetic gearbox
oil
(or equivalent)
Hydraulic Pump Oil:
The oil level indicator ball must be up
to full level in oil sight glass.
To fill hydraulic oil to the tank remove
the cap (A, Fig. 17)
Fig 17
Add
Mobil DTE 24
hydraulic oil (or
equivalent) until the ball floats to the
full level.
Change the hydraulic oil annually
(respectively every 500 operating
hours).
Coolant Pump:
The coolant tank should be filled with
23 Litre of cutting coolant.
To drain coolant remove hex cap
screw (A, Fig. 18).
Fig 18
Follow coolant manufacturer’s
instructions for safety, mixing and
disposal.
The coolant spray nozzle (B) can be
used to wash chips out of the way.
Replacing the Variable Speed Belt
Disconnect the machine from the
power source.
Take off the belt cover.
Loosen tension on the belt by turning
the variable speed dial (A, Fig. 19) to
the lowest setting. This will allow you
to remove the belt (B).
Fig 19
When installing the new belt turn the
pulley by hand while increasing
variable speed dial setting.
Reinstall the belt cover.

*No electricity-
check mains and fuse.
*Defective switch, motor or cord-
consult an electrician.
Machine vibrates excessively
*
Stand on uneven floor-
adjust stand for even support.
