8. Maintenance
- After every 250-hours of use, or once a year depending on the level of use, the boat must be
lifted out to change the POD oil.
- During cranage: it is imperative to engage forward gear for several seconds to position the
engine base of the boat correctly under the crane before stopping the boat's engine (see the
chapter Handling).
- Every 7 years, replace the POD's packing.
Check engine oil level.
The level must be between the 2 marks
on the gauge (see engine manual).
Check POD base oil level.
The level must be taken by inserting the
dipstick in the hole (without screwing it
down).
The level must be between the 2 marks
on the gauge (see ZF manual).
