Indication
(1) The validator operating status is indicated by three LEDs (green,
red and orange) on CPU board.
Green LED: This LED lights during idling and bill-accepting
operation. When a bill is rejected, the LED blinks to
indicate the rejecting status (see Chapter 6, 6-11/12).
Red LED:
This LED blinks when an error is detected.
The error status is indicated by the number of blinks
(see Chapter 6, 6-11).
Orange LED: This LED lights when the guides of bill centering
mechanism are at the home position. While the LED is
on, the head unit can be opened.
(2) External display output (7-pin connector)
When this connector is connected to the optional display unit, the
acceptor’s operating status is displayed.
ON:
The unit is able to accept bills.
OFF:
The unit is unable to accept bills.
