Sending   Files   via   Bluetooth

   

With   Bluetooth,   you   can   share   pictures,   videos,   or   music   files   with   your   family   and   

friends.   To   send   files   via   Bluetooth,   do   as   follows:      

1.   

Touch   Launcher   >   File   Manager   to   open   the   file   manager.      

2.   

Touch   and   hold   the   file   to   be   sent.   The   active   options   menu   is   displayed.      

3.   

Touch   Share,   and   then   touch   Bluetooth   to   select   a   paired   device.      

   

Disconnecting   or   Unpairing   a   Bluetooth   Device      

1.   

Touch   Menu,   then   Settings   >   Wireless   &   networks   >   Bluetooth   settings.      

2.   

Navigate   to   the   Bluetooth   devices   section,   and   then   touch   and   hold   the   

connected   device.   You   can   also   just   touch   a   connected   device   to   disconnect   it.      

3.   

Touch   Disconnect   or   Unpair   to   disconnect   the   device.      

   

Entertainment      

In   addition   to   being   a   communication   device   and   personal   assistant,   your   mobile   phone   

also   provides   you   with   a   multitude   of   entertainment   possibilities.   You   can   take   photos,   

create   videos   and   audio   clips,   and   download   and   listen   to   music.      

   

Taking   Photos   and   Recording   Videos      

The   camera   is   a   combination   of   camera   and   camcorder   that   you   can   use   to   shoot   and   

share   pictures   and   videos.      

   

Opening   Your   Camera      

Touch                           on   the   Home   screen   or   Launcher   >   Camera   to   open   the   camera.   The   camera   

opens   in   landscape   mode,   ready   to   take   a   picture   or   shoot   a   video.   You   can   also   press   

and   hold   the   camera   button   on   the   side   of   the   phone   to   access   the   camera   app.   

   

Press                                 on   the   picture   capture   screen   or   Home   button   to   close   the   camera.   

      

Capture   Screen      

On   the   capture   screen,   touch   the   screen   to   show   the   zoom   in   or   out   controls.      

   

   

Taking   a   Photo      

1.   

   Open   your   camera   and   if   necessary,   switch   to   the   camera   mode.      

2.   

   If   necessary,   use   the   on-­‐screen   icons   to   change   the   camera   settings.   The   

preview   changes   as   you   change   the   settings.      

3.   

Compose   your   photo   within   the   photo   capture   screen.      

4.   

Touch                              on-­‐screen   shutter   icon   to   take   your   photo.      

Your   photo   is   displayed   for   a   moment.   You   can   take   another   photo   or   preview   your

Opening Camera and taking pictures or videos

You take pictures and shoot videos with Camera.

Camera’s many settings are described in “Changing Camera settings” on page 275.

You can also view your pictures with the Gallery application, as described in “Gallery” 
on page 279.

Important

Be sure to clean the protective lens cover with a microfiber cloth before taking pic-
tures. A lens cover with smudges from fingers can cause blurry pictures with a “halo” 
effect. 

Open Camera

Take a picture

If necessary, drag the control to the Camera position.

Adjust your exposure, flash, and other settings if you wish. Or leave them on 
automatic.
See “Changing Camera settings” on page 275. The preview image changes as you 
change the settings.

Frame your subject on screen.
Depending on your phone’s features, you can set whether you want to use the 
front or back camera, by touching the front 

 or back

Touch the onscreen Shutter icon.

If your phone has a 

Trackball

 or dedicated 

Camera

 button, you can press that to 

take the picture (see your phone’s owner’s guide for details about its buttons).
The camera brings the image into focus. When the image is in focus, the focus 
indicators in each corner turn green and the camera takes a picture.
You can also touch & hold the Shutter icon (or your phone’s button) to focus first, 
before taking a picture; then lift your finger to take a focused picture more quickly. 
Slide your finger off the Shutter icon and release your finger to cancel taking the 
picture.
The picture you just took is displayed for a moment, and then is displayed as a 
thumbnail.

Touch the thumbnail to view, share, and work with your pictures in Gallery

Switch between front and back cameras

If your phone has both a front and back camera (see your phone’s owner’s guide), you 
can select the camera you want to preview and take pictures with.
