If the motor overheats, the cleaner will switch 

off automatically. If this occurs, press the on/

off switch, disconnect from the mains supply 

and leave for 60 minutes to allow the motor to 

cool down.

The likely causes of the cleaner overheating are:

• The nozzle or tubes are blocked

• The dustbag is full

• The motor protection filter 

 is very dirty

• The exhaust filter 

Ê

 is very dirty.

Check and rectify the problem before 

attempting to reuse the cleaner.

 

NOTE: 

Do not use your vacuum 

 

cleaner without the filters fitted.

During short breaks in cleaning, the tubes can 

be held in an upright ‘standby’ position, whilst 

you move furniture for instance

Switch off the appliance. Remove the plug from 

the mains supply and rewind the power cable
