Transport
Loading the machine onto a trailer:
1. Stop transport vehicle on solid, level ground, put blocks at front and rear of trailer wheels
2. Move the machine onto the transport vehicle.
1. Make sure the ramps are in their correct positions, then secure them.
2. Set the boom.
3. Slowly and carefully drive the machine onto the transport trailer.
4. Make the machine safe with the boom lowered.
5. Put blocks at the front and rear of all four tyres.
6. Check that the overall height of the load is within regulations. Adjust if necessary.
7. Secure the cab.
8. Cover the exhaust stack.
3. Engage the slew lock and check it is engaged by activating slew L and R and ensure it is restrained by
the pin.
4. Secure the machine to the trailer with chains and check it is engaged by activating slew L and R and
ensure it is restrained by the pin. (see below).
5. Measure maximum height and ensure the transport driver knows it.
