JBL has succeeded in developing a single pressure regulator which can be used for both refillable and disposable CO
2
bottles:
The

duo
pressure regulator for use with refillable bottles can be adapted for use with disposable bottles (M10 x 1) by simply
unscrewing the bottle connecting nut (W21.8x1/14“).
JBL has additionally succeeded in developing a solution which enables aquarium keepers to use only one pressure reducer to
individually supply two tanks with CO
2
.

duo is equipped with two precision needle valves, which can be regulated
independently from one other.
If desired, each of these two needle valves can also be connected to an own
JBL ProFlora v002
solenoid valve.
A highly precise adjusting screw on the needle valves with easy grip and smooth operation allows the required amount of CO
2
to
be set precisely and simply. The pressure in the bottle and the operating pressure can be easily read on two separate pressure
gauges. The operating pressure is preset to approx. 1.5 bar, a good level for CO
2
in the aquarium. However, if desired, the user
can adjust the operating pressure to meet its requirements. A safety valve ensures that excess pressure is safely released if the
pressure is accidentally set too high, preventing damage to the pressure regulator.
