UNPACKING AND HANDLING THE DEVICE
Appropriate personal protective equipment such as protective gloves, safety
footwear and a protective helmet should be used during unpacking work.
When unloading the equipment, the basic inspection involves checking for damage
occurring during transport. For this purpose, a visual inspection should be carried
out with regards to potential unfastened parts, bulges, scratches, visible oil leaks,
etc. If transport damage is discovered, the applicable provisions of the Transport
Law or the Convention on the Contract for the International
Carriage of Goods by
Road (CMR) must be followed.
Before removing the packaging, inspect it for loose functional parts.

DEVICE INSTALLATION AND SETUP
Appropriate personal protective equipment such as protective gloves, safety
footwear and a protective helmet should be used during installation work.
The refrigeration (freezer) unit has been designed for environmental conditions
inside a shop in accordance with EN ISO 23953
-
2:2015 for the environmental
climate class indicated on the rating plate. See section
1.5
for detailed information
regarding the designation.
The ambient temperature of the unit must not drop below 1
7
°C.
The place of final use of the refrigeration (freezer) unit must be inside the building.
The device must only be used in a room with surface area in m2 equal to or
greater than the value A on the symbol near the device nameplate (applies to
equipment with a flammable refrigerant charge of more than 150 g in each
refrigeration circuit).
Do not position the device near potential ignition sources in order to minimise
the risk of fire.
5.1
Levelling
Devices fitted with levelling feet must be delivered to its destination using suitable
trolleys or transport rollers. It is permissible to move the unit on level surfaces for
short distances (up to a maximum of 0.5 m) provided that the levelling feet are fully
screwed in.
Do not move the unit on uneven surfaces and with the levelling feet removed. This
poses a risk of damaging the device.
The device should be placed on a firm s
urface and levelled using the threaded
levelling feet with which it is equipped. Before levelling the unit, the base plates
must be removed.
The levelling operation must be performed before installing the glass!
