Section 6: Electrical System
Monitor Panel Operation
Select the MONITOR PANEL icon (
Fig 10
), the screen
opens containing graphic representations of all tank levels
in your RV (fresh, black and gray water tanks) along with
the current battery status. There are additional buttons to
turn on the electric or gas water heater, the water pump and
the water tank heater (if so equipped;
see water tank heat-
er operation for detailed information).
When you press a
button, the icon immediately to the right of the switch will light up indicating that device is
now active. Select the HOME icon to return to the previous screen.
IMPORTANT SWITCH OPERATING INFORMATION
The function of the red rocker switch(s) at the command center panel (and outside util-
ity center) are also controlled by the 3 touchscreens, the handheld remote and Wi-Fi app.
These switches are mechanical switches and not electronic, the only way to turn them off
is to physically turn them off at the command center panel (or outside utility center). The
touchscreens will
ALWAYS
indicate the correct status (ON or OFF) for devices in the RV.
Example
(Fig 11
): If the “pump” (red) rocker switch is
turned ON at the command center switch panel, the red
rocker switch lights up and the touchscreen indicators (for
the pump switch), along with indicators on the handheld
remote and Wi-Fi app will light up also (arrow).
If the pump is shut off from the touchscreens, remote, or
Wi-Fi app, the pump will turn OFF, along with the indica-
tor on these devices, but the red switch at the command
center stays lit even though the pump is now OFF (also
applies to the pump switch at the utility center and the
gas/electric water heater). The red switch must be turned off manually for the light to go out.
DSI FLT - Direct Spark Ignition Fault (if so equipped):
This light above the GAS water
heater switch on the command center panel indicates a problem with the LP portion of the
water heater. When the GAS switch is turned on, the light will blink quickly 3 times and the
water heater will ignite. The light will then remain off. If the light comes on and stays on,
it indicates the gas side of the water heater has not fired and there is a problem with the ig
-
niter.
This light does NOT appear on the touchscreens, remote or Wi-Fi app.
Operating the Lights:
Select the LIGHTING icon and
the lighting control screen opens (
Fig 12
) allowing you
to control most of the lighting in your RV.
To operate, scroll through the list and find the light you
want to control. Select the ON or OFF button. The bulb
icon on the left side will light up when the light is turned
ON.
NOTE:
When a light is turned ON, the ON button disappears and
an OFF button appears. The bulb icon for the switch will also light up.
The reverse will happen when the switch is turned OFF.
