Section 6: Electrical System
To use the system, select
My RV Control Panel (Fig
3)
from the menu. This opens the screen showing all
the items that can be operated from the touchscreens,
or the handheld remote.
The device selection screen
(Fig 4)
has icons depicting
the different systems in your RV that can be controlled
from the various control devices. To return to the pre-
vious menu, the BACK icon or the HOME icon in the
bottom bar on the screen will return you to the previous
screen.
Awning Operation:
Select the AWNING icon (
Fig 5
); the
screen opens showing the awnings. If there are multiple
awnings, there will be a selection for each awning at the
left of the screen. Select the awning you want to control,
then press and hold the EXTEND or RETRACT arrow
buttons. Select the HOME icon to return to the previous
screen.
Leveler Operation:
Select the LEVELER icon, the screen
opens showing the leveler control panel (
Fig 6
). This
screen will allow you to extend and retract the jacks and
to auto level the RV. For additional information on level-
ing your RV, refer to the auto leveling section. Select the
HOME icon to return to the previous screen.
Slide-out Operation:
Select the SLIDES icon which will
open the slideout screen (
Fig 7)
. A list of the slide-outs on
your RV will appear on the left side of the screen. If you
have 3 slide-outs they will be numbered 01 to 03. Press
Slide 01, and then press (and hold) the OUT button to ex-
tend the slide, or the IN button to retract it. Repeat this
action on the remaining slideouts. Select the HOME icon
to return to the previous screen.
IMPORTANT SAFETY FEATURE: IF SLIDE 01 IS
MISSING FROM THE LIST:
This indicates there is a problem with
the bedroom slide-out. In order to function properly, the bedroom door
cannot be closed. An electronic door catch has been installed to the wall
in the bedroom behind the door (
Fig 8
). A second piece is mounted to
the door
(Fig 9)
. If the door is closed, the Slide 01 notification on the
touchscreen display will disappear and the slide-out will NOT operate.
When the door is opened and the catch pieces connect, the Slide 01 noti-
fication appears on the touchscreen display and the slide-out can then be
operated normally.
NOTE:
This same safety feature applies to the
slide-out switch on the wall. The bedroom door must
be open and the catch pieces connected for the
bedroom slide to work.
