30.2 Auger Height Adjustment
The auger height is controlled by rotating a set screw which is threaded into the auger slope top (see
). It is important that the leading edge of the auger does not contact the drum floor during
operation. However, it is also important that the leading edge is not too far above the floor. The height
will be set at the factory but should be checked occasionally. When measuring this height, rotate the
auger one full revolution and find the location where the drum floor and the auger leading edge are
closest. At this location, the drum floor and the auger leading edge should be spaced 1/8 inch (3 mm)
apart.

1. Auger Height Adjustment Set Screw
– Rotate the set screw clockwise to raise the height of the
auger and counterclockwise to lower it.
2. Auger Height Securing Nut
– Loosen nut before adjusting the height of the auger. Once auger
height is set, tighten nut to original torque.

TIRE AIR PRESSURE
Inflate tires on all Jaylor 5050 and 5100 models to the tire manufacturer’s recommended pressure. The
inflation pressure will be labelled on the tire. Ensure all tires are at the recommended pressure.
