3.5 Replacing of Light Source
3.5.1 Replacing of Halogen Lamp for P-1010
WARNING :
The lamp is still very hot after turning the
ʺ″

switch Off. Therefore,
wait at least five minutes before touching the lamp.
Note : Wear clean cloth gloves when handling the lamp. If the lamp surface is
contaminated, clean it with a cloth dipped in ethanol, then wipe off with a dry
cloth.
(1) Turn the
ʺ″
Power
ʺ″
switch OFF and wait about five minutes.
(2) Remove the lid from the lamp housing on the left side of the instrument. The
lamp can be seen at the extreme right.
(3) Pull the lamp out from the socket.
(4) Inset a new lamp into the socket.
(5) Mount the lid into place.
(6) Turn the
ʺ″
Power
ʺ″
switch On and make sure that the instrument operates
properly. (See 3.4 “Performance Check,” for details.)
3.5.2 Replacing Lamp for P-1020
<Replacing the sodium (Na) lamp>
