Changing GAIN
The GAIN changes the gain of the CD signal amplifier. Normally, GAIN
should be set to “X10”. In case a sample compound gives so strong CD
signal that may saturate the amplifier and “CD Sig.: 3.9000 V” is
displayed(see Fig.5.2) , the setting “X1” should be used to reduce the CD
signal to a proper level.
