1. Measure the distance between stove top and the bottom of range hood. A distance between
24” to 30” is required. For gas stove tops, a minimum distance of 30’’ is required.
Make sure the range hood is level and not tilted.
2. Mark the locations of the Wall Mounting
Bracket holes on the wall.
Make sure your mounting points are leveled
when you mark them. It is recommended to
install the hood directly into wood supports.
NOTE: Use threaded drywall anchors only
when mounting the hood on sheet rock.
Mounting the hood on wall studs or lum-
bers is highly recommended.
4. Align and install the Duct Cover Mounting
Bracket (Part E) close to the ceiling using 2
mounting screws appropriate for your wall
construction.
Make sure that the Duct Cover Mounting
Bracket is in line with the Wall Mounting
Bracket of the Range Hood below and its
height isn't exceeding the maximum height of
the Exhaust Duct Cover (31.5in / 80cm).
3. Place aside all equipment, locate marked regions, drill two holes in the marked region, then
insert the two Wall Anchors (Part H) directly into the wall, gently tapping in place. Insert 2 Wall
Anchor Screws (Part I) into the wall anchors. Leave the head of the screw approximately 1/8 in.
away from the wall to allow for hanging.
