WLAN 802.11 b/g/n Radio
Overview
The XM2-RFID has a 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) radio. The
radio is interoperable with other 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi compliant products, including wireless
controllers, access points (Aps), workstations via PC card adapters and other wireless portable
devices.
By default, the 802.11 b/g/n radio is powered-on “out of the box”. The next step is to configure
the connection parameters of the radio to connect to a wireless network. The XM2-RFID uses
the Microsoft Windows Zero Config (WZC) as its wireless connection management utility.
Configuring WLAN Radio
To configure the WLAN using the WCZ Utility:

Select the broadcast SSID.
