•
Disconnect the power cord from the AC
outlet and protect the unit agents ESD.
• Remove
the Lid.
(See instruction under Lid)
•
Unscrew the Plastic Front. One screw in
each side. 44-0399/4
•
Remove the Plastic Front by un clicking it.

Disconnect the two cables to the VFD
board.
• Unscrew the VFD board from the
plastic Front. On some units the VFD
board is glued. Gently break the glue
using a small screwdriver.
•
Mount the VFD board in the new Plastic
Front. If the VFD board was glued, clean
the board and glue the VFD board using a
small amount LOCTITE.
•
Reconnect the cables. 44-0399/5/7. Make
sure that the short cable is fixed!
•
Remount the Plastic Front.
Note! The grounding clip most connect to
the Chassis below the white PSU plastic
cover. 44-0399/3
•
Test the DVR 50 unit.
Note! When working on the DVR 50 do
not pull the unit by the dark display
cover!
