and set the timer to the suggested cooking time. To use one of the preprogrammed cooking options
press the “ ” symbol on the touch screen display. A food symbol will appear around the
outside of the
display
. There are seven symbols: Chips, Pork, Shellfish, Baking, Chicken,
Meat/Steak and Fish. Keep pressing the “ ’’ button until the symbol of the preferred
preprogrammed cooking mode is displayed.
When you select the preferred preprogrammed cooking option, you can change the temperature
and time by pr or - and finally you can press the “
” symbol to start the cooking process.
Once the cooking process has started, a fan symbol with a red light will rotate, indicating the food
is being cooked.
During the hot air frying/cooking process the red light will switch on and off from time to
time. This indicates that the heating element is switching on and off to maintain the set
temperature.
Once the frying is finished, you will hear sound signal.

Any excess oil from the food will be collected at the bottom of the pan.
Some dishes need to be stirred or turned halfway through the cooking time. To do this, remove the
pan from the Air fryer using the handle and then shake/stir/turn the dish. Be careful not to
press the release button while shaking the pan (e.g. when shaking the chips).
If you want to only shake the basket, rest the pan on a heat resistant surface, slide the
protective cover forward, press the release button and shake the basket.
NOTE: If you removed the basket during the cooking process, to either shake or turn the food
over, you need to press the “ ” button once you have put the basket back in the Air fryer.
Tip: When cooking food which needs to be either shaken or turned during cooking (e.g.
chips), you can set the timer to half the cooking time. When you hear the bell, then shake/
turn the
food. You will need to reset the timer to finish cooking the food.
When the timer bell rings, remove the pan from the appliance and rest it on a heat resistant
surface. Check if the food is cooked, if not, then slide the pan back into the Air fryer and set
the timer for a few more minutes.
Once the food is done, remove the pan and place it on a heat resistant surface.
Slide forward the protective cover and press the basket release button before tipping the food out
of the basket onto a plate. DO NOT tip the basket before releasing the basket from the pan as
any excess oil collected at the bottom of the pan will run onto the cooked food.
Tip: To remove delicate food or larger pieces use a pair of tongs.
After cooking one batch of food, the Air fryer can immediately be used again to cook more food.
