Use
- Move the two pushpieces into the “open” position by turning the wing-nuts
a quarter of a turn upwards. The non-compressed seal position (“open”) is
then indicated by an arrow (front view of watch).
- Reset the seconds hand by pressing the pushpiece at 4 o’clock to be ready to
perform another measurement.
- At the starting point, press once on the pushpiece at 2 o’clock. The cen-
tral seconds hand turns (the minute and hour totaliser counters are also in
operation but are not used for tachometer measurement).
- At the point of arrival one kilometre away, press again the pushpiece at
2 o’clock to stop the chronograph.
- Read the speed which is now indicated by the seconds hand on the scale of
the tachometer inner bezel ring.
