10.0 Automatic Filtration Cycles
Your Jacuzzi Premium controls have been designed to provide maximum
convenience, as well as economy of operation. By selecting the appropriate
filtration mode, you can ensure that your spa will be ready to use
anytime with the lowest possible energy consumption.
Your spa’s control system activates automatic filter cycles, during which jets
pump #1 turns on in low speed to move water through the filter. This water
movement also provides important skimming action to remove debris and
suspensions from the water’s surface, minimizing the “bathtub ring” effect.
10.1 Standard Filtration Modes (F0 - F3)
In standard mode, water temperature
is held
to the set temperature by the
24-hour circulation pump and heater which turns on as needed to maintain
the set temperature. After the set temperature is reached, the heater turns
off and the circulation pump continues to operate continuously to filter and
clean the spa water.
10.2 Economy Filtration Modes (F4 - F6)
In economy mode, water temperature
is not
thermostatically controlled.
The low speed jets pump 1 and heater turn on only during a programmed
filter cycle.
Note: you can change jets pump 1 to high speed or turn it off
during a filter cycle.
10.3 Lock Modes (L1 - L2)
These modes are designed for use during spa service or to prevent unau-
thorized use.
