- cut a portion of the pipe coming from the filter valve, in order
to glue in its place the T fitting (a) indicated.
- glue the other T fitting to the hot-tub filtered water return pipe.
Then connect it to the heater using the rubber sleeve (d) and the
metallic clamps.
- fasten the two sections of pipe (f ) to the Venturi fitting (g) and
to the pipe holders (c) with metallic clamps.
NOTE:
connect the Venturi fitting so that the direction of installa-
tion indicated by the arrow is as shown in the figure (detail X).
- attach the ozonator to the frame of the spa-pak, as shown.
- attach a section of the small plastic tube to the ozonator (detail
Z) and to the non-return valve (v), winding the small plastic tube
on itself as shown so as to create a safety siphon if there is a fail-
ure of the safety valve.
Then connect the valve to the Venturi fitting using another sec-
tion. Secure all using plastic clamps.
NOTE:
pay attention to the direction of installation of the valve, as
shown in the figure.
- make the electrical connection, running the cable (h) through
the indicated cable clamp and connecting it to the respective
terminals (refer to enclosed electrical diagrams).
X
Connect the attachment left free on the selector valve to the
provided ground drainage point, using PVC pipes.
NOTE:
before making any plumbing connection to the filter, fill it
with the provided quartz sand (refer to relative chapter).
X
Connect the two pipes for suction-hydromassage to the cor-
responding pumps, equipping them with PVC ball valves.
X
Connect the other two pipes for return to the hydromassage
nozzles to the corresponding pumps, equipping them with PVC
ball valves.
X
Install the filter to the blower (optional or not available with
some models), as indicated.

X
Connect the blower to the hot-tub; for the Alimia, Sienna,
Virginia and Enjoy models, make sure you create a siphon
(part.
B)
, approximately 15 cm above the rim of the hot tub and as
close as possible to it (
2, 2a, 3, 3a
).
Q
(Alimia, Sienna, Virginia, Enjoy models) The siphon is
obligatory and is necessary in order to prevent the wa-
ter from entering the pipes of the blower and coming
into contact with the electrically live part s, in the event
of failure of the non-return valve, installed in the factor
on the hot tub side.

FILTER
AND
SELECTOR
VALVE
This is a quartz sand filter, composed of a very sturdy thermoplastic
container, an internal distribution system in anti-corrosive materi-
al and a manual selector valve with 7 positions (6 operating and 1
standby).
Filling sand
During the installation phase, before filling the system with water,
the filter must be filled with the provided sand.
The suggested amount is indicated on the sticker on the outside of
the filter).
This is done as follows:
X
Disconnect the pipes from the filtering pump and from the
heater (heat exchanger, if installed) and remove the selector
valve; add water up to the indicated level.
X
Then cover the opening of the pipe with the flange (includ-
ed) and pour the quartz sand (grain size: 0 .4-0.8 mm) into the
container, up to the indicated level.
X
Pour the sand in slowly, distributing it evenly around the
pipe. Make sure that the pipe does not come out of its housing.
X
When you have finished, remove the flange and keep it for
the next time you need to replace the sand. Clean any residues
from the edge of the container.
X
Put the selector valve back in place. Re-connect the pipes
which were previously removed and then make the connections
to the ground drainage point
(also connect the total drainage
valve of the filter, located at the bottom of it, as shown in the figure).
