After activating the function, unscrew the plug on the scale re-
moval nozzle
(located on the panel with the brassware, to the side
of the whirlpool jets)
, insert the spout and pour half of the liquid
in the bottle into the opening; in the case of Frame in 2, a second
bottle of water (3/4 litres) is needed; close the plug.

The liquid must be poured in within 5 minutes.
If the "Turkish bath" (TOP model) or “water-pitcher” (TT model)
key is accidentally pressed during the 5 minutes available for add-
ing the scale removal liquid, or if the liquid is not added during this
period, the function is aborted and the steam generator is rinsed
(the system considers the scale removal cycle as not performed).
To carry out the scale removal cycle again, wait for the "Turkish
bath” ( TOP model) or “water-pitcher” (TT model) key to stop flash-
ing and repeat the procedure described for each model.
X
After the indicated time has passed, the key will stop flashing
(remains on fixed) and the scale removal cycle will start.
TOP model
In the TOP models, the passing of the time is displayed by the
gradual disappearance of the vertical bars located under the water-
pitcher: if they are not visible, press the "Turkish bath" key.

X
After the 10 hour period has passed, start the steam genera-
tor draining and washing cycle and the “Turkish bath” (TOP mod-
el) or the “water-pitcher” (TT model) key will start to flash; when
it has turned off and the control panel returns to the “awaiting
instructions” mode, the cycle is complete.
If the waterfall or whirlpool jets are activated at the moment of
the final phase of the scale removal cycle, the steam generator will be
washed one minute after the last activated function has ended.
X
At the end of the function, the memory that stores the “Turk-
ish bath" count will be reset.
-
Do not turn off the main switch until the scale remover cycle
has ended.
Notes
- A back-up battery guarantees that the cycle will continue even if
the power is cut-off. For example, if the scale removal cycle has been
in progress for 3 hours when the power supply is cut-off; if the inter-
ruption lasts for an amount of time that, together with the previous
3 hours, is less than 10 hours, the cycle will restart for the remaining
time (3 hours of cycle + 5 hours of interruption = 8 hours; therefore
2 cycle hours remain).
If instead the sum is greater than or equal to 10 hours, the steam
generator drain and washing phase will start immediately.
