User safety
Q
If installed by qualified personnel in compliance with the in-
structions in the enclosed installation manual, the system does
not present any risks for the user. However, safety is also contin-
gent upon appropriate use, according to the provisions in the
respective manual, while the user must delegate the operations
described in the installation manual to qualified personnel.
Q
It is important to make sure that personnel tasked to install
or manage the system are qualified as per legal requirements in
effect in the country where installation is carried out.
Q
For special maintenance operations and/or repairs, you should
always contact authorised Jacuzzi® service centres and use only
original spare parts.
Arrangement for installation
Q
Flow requires the following plumbing connections (arranged
as in
1 and 3
):
-
B
: spa drain.
-
C
: connection of overflow; to be made in the field, after drilling
a hold in the bottom of the support base, depending on the type
of installation.
The customer must make provisions for a ground drainage point
of suitable dimensions and that can be inspected for any clean-
ing that may be required.
ATTENTION: Before preparing the ground drainage
point, consult the local authority for the regulations
that control the drainage of chemically treated water.
It is advisable to provide a drain system under the support
area of the spa which is connected to the main drain, con-
necting the main drain also to the fitting present on the base
(
2
).
ATTENTION: Jacuzzi® advises against outdoor installa-
tion.
Q
To periodically empty the spa you can:
- connect a pipe to the drain valve, after removing the plug and
screwing in the fitting with gasket (included,
2, det. B
).
NOTE
:
To open the valve, you must turn the ring nut anticlockwise
and pull it, therefore if you decide to connect the spa permanently
to the ground drainage point, we recommend you install a valve be-
low, bypassing the valve installed in the factory.
- where it is not possible to connect the spa permanently to the
ground drainage point, use a swimming pool portable pump.
Q
It is possible to connect the drain and the overflow together,
however after the gate valve
(installed on the discharge tube)
since the overflow must always be open.
Q
You can use a garden hose to fill the spa.
If the spa is connected, for periodic filling, to the
mains system that supplies drinking water, this con-
nection must be carried out in compliance with the
EN1717 norm, using “AA”, “AB” or “AD” anti-pollution
protection procedures. For further information, we
recommend you contact your water supply company
and/or your plumber.
Flow can be installed resting on the floor or on a purposely set-
up base (
4
).
