INSTRUMENT PANEL ______________________________________________________
A.
Hydraulic Oil Level / Horn Test Switch
Horn will sound if oil level is low. Depress rear of
switch to test horn. Release switch to de-activate
horn.
B. Light Switch
Depress front of switch for headlight operation.
C. Reel Switch
Lift and push forward to enable the reel circuit. Pull
back to disable. Reels wil start turning after the
“Mow” switch is pressed.
D. Choke (Gasoline)
Pull the choke control knob upwards to close the
choke plate when starting a cold engine. A warm
engine may not require”Choking” to start.
E. Traction Lever
Regulates forward speed. Two positions: Position 1:
To mow. Position 2: To transport.
F.
Throttle Lever
Regulates engine speed. Push lever forward to
increase, or pull lever backwards to decrease engine
speed.
G. Parking Brake
Pull back to engage and push forward to disengage.
Disengage parking brake slowly. Brake must be
engaged to start engine..
H. Circuit Breaker
If the gauges or ignition system fail to operate
properly, check the circuit breaker then depress cap
to reactivate the breaker.
I.
Brake Light
Indicates that the parking brake is engaged. Parking
brake must be disengaged before depressing traction
pedal.
J.
Ignition Switch
Used to start the engine. Remove the ignition key
when the tractor is not in use.
Diesel Engines - Ignition switch is also used to
energize glow plugs when starting a cold engine.
4.3 STEERING
TOWER ________________________________________________________
K. Voltmeter
Indicates battery condition. During normal operation
meter should never be in the red area.
L. Engine Oil Pressure Light
The indicator will light if engine oil pressure drops
below 7 PSI (48 kPa). Stop engine immediately,
determine the cause, and correct the problem before
resuming operation.
M. Hydraulic Oil Level Light
The indicator will light if oil level drops below a safe
level.
N. Hour Meter (Gasoline)
Used to time maintenance intervals or mowing
operations. The meter operates only when the
ignition key is in the “On” position.
N. Temperature Gauge (Diesel)
Indicates engine coolant temperature. Normal
operating temperature should be 185 - 195 degrees
F (85 - 91 degrees C).
O. Hour Meter (Diesel)
Used to time maintenance intervals or mowing
operations. The meter operates only when the
ignition key is in the “On” position.
P.
Tilt Control
Lift to unlock the tilt control lever and adjust the
steering wheel to the desired position.
Q. Horn
Sounds when hydraulic oil level drops below a safe
level.
