ENGINE SPEED ___________________________________________________________
The engine speed is set at the factory for proper
generator output. However, engine speed should be
checked periodically, and adjusted to 59 volts. An output
voltage greater than 60 volts will cause an alarm to sound
and may cause system damage. Controller will shut
down after 60 seconds if the over voltage condition is not
corrected.
Adjustment should be made with the engine at operating
temperature using a volt meter.
1.
Stop the engine and disconnect the generator power
connector.
2.
Remove the throttle lever cover.
3.
Start the engine and adjust the engine throttle
position until an output voltage of 59 volts is
achieved at generator power connector.
4.
Stop the engine and install throttle lever cover.
5.
Connect generator power connector.

FUEL ____________________________________________________________________
Handle fuel with care - it is highly flammable. Use an
approved container, the spout must fit inside the fuel filler
neck. Avoid using cans and funnels to transfer fuel.
• Store fuel according to local, state or federal
ordinances and recommendations from your fuel
supplier.
• Never overfill or allow the tank to become empty.
• Use clean, fresh, regular grade, unleaded gasoline
minimum 86 Octane.
• See engine manual before using oxygenated (blended)
fuel.
• Do not fill above the fuel filler neck.
WARNING
Never remove the fuel cap from the fuel tank, or add
fuel, when the engine is running or while the engine is
hot.
Do not smoke when handling fuel. Never fill or drain
the fuel tank indoors.
Do not spill fuel and clean spilled fuel immediately.
Never handle or store fuel containers near an open
flame or any device that may create sparks and ignite
the fuel or fuel vapors.
Be sure to reinstall and tighten fuel cap securely.
