TROUBLESHOOTING

ADDITIONAL ENGINE TROUBLESHOOTING

Reasons due to engine not star ng or shu ng off:

• Pump has reached 250°F and temperature switch

triggered engine to shut off.

•

BATTERY

is drained, check voltage for 12V.

•For further engine assistance, contact a Kohler

authorized dealer.  For further machine assistance  or

service, contact Jackrabbit.

NO FLOW COMING FROM WANDS

• The CO‐Jack only dispenses carbon monoxide while it is

running at max idle speed

.

• Check for any exhaust gas leaks.

• Verify clutch is working.  If the belt is engaged while the

engine is running at max idle speed, the clutch is working

properly.

• If

PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE

, shown on page 11, is

completely ejec ng the exhaust gas, it will have to be re‐

adjusted or replaced.

• For further assistance/service, please contact Jackrabbit.

VACUUM PUMP OVERHEATING

• If the temperature gauge above the pump is reaching

270°F then the pump is ge ng too hot.

• Excess fric on inside the pump which can be caused by a

foreign object inside the pump.

• Running the CO‐Jack with no vacuum pump oil.

• Ensure engine is being idled down between holes.

• For further assistance or service, please contact

Jackrabbit.
