FOR SIMULATION USE ONLY 

 

IDENT Button 

This button sets your Transponder to IDENT mode and squawks IDENT for a 
short period of time.  When squawking IDENT, the flashing R character is 
replaced with a solid I character on the right of the transponder display. 

Cycle Button 

This button is inactive. 

Code Select Knob 

This knob allows you to increase or decrease your selected transponder digit 
from 0-7 using the mouse wheel.  Clicking the Knob with your LEFT mouse 
button will cycle through the first, second, third and fourth digit for 
adjustment. 

Mode Knob 

This knob when clicked with the LEFT mouse button will cycle through the 
following four transponder modes.

Standby Mode (STNBY) 

•

 

Mode A Operation (ON) 

•

 

Mode A & C Operation (ALT) 

•

 

Mode A & C Operation (ALT DISPLAY) 

VFR Button
